They are headed straight for a LastPass repeat. One of two things is going to happen. Either they change the price back or they end up like LastPass (a distant memory). It will necessitate the creation of something better and people will flock to it. It’s like they want to repeat other companies bad decision!

I don’t know about everybody else, but even if they change back, I’m not going to pay them again. They taught us a valuable lesson: this isn’t a company we should trust to make good decisions.

I’d be willing to be a part of a group that builds a valid replacement/alternative. I’m a web developer, so I can build everything on the front end. I would need the help of someone that can implement a new API similar to Trakt’s so that others can consume and use it. I would need someone that can build the backend that integrates TMDB and Just Watch so that we can provide the same data and functionality.
Anyone up for that kind of challenge?

Tbh, I would resubscribe if they change it back to proof that I accepted their apology.
If they don’t, they won’t see the reward that is listening to the community and thus stay shitty.
If they don’t change back, I won’t bother as well.
I wouldn’t tbh. Only a few months back Justin promised that long term subscribers would be grandfathered. That promise wasn’t fulfilled as well as many others small and large.
Credibility is down the drain…

Just my opinion but I also wouldn’t resub if they came to their senses and changed it back unless they kept their word and grandfathered the “early ones” like they initially said they would.
