What has happened to CSV's

Just come on to the Forums to find out if there are any problems with the CSV downloads and AAAAARRRGGGHHH what has happened!!!
Not a fan at all.

Anyway, besides the point.

What has happened to CSV downloads?
I can click the CSV icon and it says download will be ready shortly and nothing happens.
Tried it on Firefox, Chrome and Edge, nothing.

In Chrome I get this error message

This site can’t be reached

The web page at https://trakt.tv/users/changnoi/lists.csv?slurm=6e05634b393040b43211a0ae43694a86& might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Please help.

I just tried mine and it is working for me. I think it may be your account.

Side note I found that CSV downloads do not work with Firefox Multi-Account Containers in case anyone is using them.

Thanks for trying and letting me know.

I have raised a ticket now so hopefully I can get this sorted.

I have the same problem with the CSV. Can’t export private lists.

CSV download doesn’t work for me either. Tried it on Firefox, Opera and Edge.

Oh glad it’s not just me then (sorry) but at least I know it’s not something I have messed up.

Hopefully @justin will be able to look at this at some point, although I have raised a ticket so hopefully it should get picked up as a problem. Not sure if it’s worth rasing your own ticket or not guys?

I just pushed a fix for the list CSV files. The others all seemed to work ok in my tests.

Morning @justin

Thanks for that. I just tried it on Firefox and it failed, timed out ERROR 504
Tried it on chrome and it worked after slight delay.
Have tried lists and History on Chrome both OK

Not sure if Firefox problem is my end but everything else appears to be working OK.

Thanks very much for your help

Update:
Just thought I would give it one more go before posting and Firefox has awoken from its sleep and all working fine on there too.

Again. thanks for your help. Very much appreciated.

Yeah, timeouts might unfortunately occur depending on how much data it is trying to export. It likely worked on the 2nd try since the data was already cached.

I can’t find any mention of CSV export anywhere on Trakt anymore. It’s something I’ve used many times, but I don’t know where it went. Does someone have a screenshot of where these buttons are supposed to be?

There are icons that you can click on to export to csv on the different sub pages, for example the whole watch history can be exported to csv by clicking the csv icon on the history page.

Example from the dashboard with the csv icon to the right:

Thanks. It turns out it was something in an ad-blocking browser extension that was preventing those from appearing for me.

This is still an issue for me. My history CSV consistently falls. It doesn’t matter which browser (or even curl) I use.

I imagine it’s because there’s just too much data.

Is it possible to get it paginated? The atom feed works, and only returns the latest 60. That’s actually pretty good. Getting sixty at a time would be fine.a
