I’m not sure how plex works exactly (not a user) however I’m guessing one of the main benefits would be trakt integration keeping record of your “watched percentage” as in if watched 50% of a movie then stopped, then went back to it from a different device (even in a different location) you would have the ability to continue on watching from where you left off originally…Perhaps Plex already has this ability?, not sure
