Year in Review -- separate stats for movies vs TV shows

Short description of the issue

  • In prior years, the yearly review used to show stats broken up separately by TV shows and movies. This gave me a lot more info about how many shows I watched, how many hours, etc. I can’t figure out how to do it for the 2025 yearly review. This template seems to be much more barebones with only combined data. I went back on the yearly review to 2015, and this data is there every single year except for 2025

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • I’m not sure why this data was removed from the yearly review when it seems to be present in so many of the historical ones. However, if indeed there is no way to filter the numbers by type, how else would I calculate this data? I don’t care about most of the yearly review stuff, and definitely not about the larger community stuff. I wanted this data specifically, and it no longer seems easy to get.

Completely agree - so many stats are now gone in this new year in review which was one of my main reasons for looking at it throughout the year.. really disappointed.

Other missing stats would be the country map, most watched writers and most watched film studios.

the film studios are there at least, it’s a toggle switch between tv stations and film studios

Indeed, my bad.

Btw, my fav studio:

Agree, Please bring this back!

For reference:

And for transparency: for the moment, Year in Review lives more on V2, V3 merely shows the data from a V2 new template. This has make the 2025 Year in Review a bit harder to manage than it should have.

Anyway, we are planning to add the Country Map back and tweak some things. But more importantly, we’ll do better next year based on the feedback we received.
