In the time since the app Serializd has been out, I’ve noticed an increase in users from that site spam-upvoting specific images on TMDB to reflect their personal preferences in Serializd. Unfortunately, this affects Trakt—which also sources from TMDB. I think a great VIP feature would be the ability to lock the “Poster/Fanart” for ourselves. For example, Better Call Saul. This is a show that is constantly having the art changed on TMDB due to vote manipulation, at least a few times a week and it’s super irritating. But if Trakt users were able to lock the images for themselves, that would fix this. So for instance, a VIP user could lock the images for themselves and it wouldn’t affect what anyone else sees on the site, but would be just for them and help prevent the individual feeling of annoyance due to images for shows changing all the time. When the images are inevitably changed again, the people who chose to lock the images for themselves wouldn’t have these changes reflected. Of course, in that case, if someone thinks the later-changed images look better, they could just unlock and lock again!
