Hello,

I’m Dutch and as Dutch person I often watch Dutch TV Shows.
I wanted to post a comment in Dutch because why would I talk English below a Dutch TV show that is only available in the Netherlands.
But I got an error which said I needed to write the comment in English.
Why is this?!

I have the same frustration with finding certain movies and shows.
Because an English title must be added, some people make up names for shows just to get it on Trakt.
Names that make no sense, and in all honesty I often change it on tvdb in the English translation to the Dutch name.
I know this is something you can’t help me with, but I really wanted to get this last part of my chest for a really long time now haha.

Hi Sopherian. I understand your dissatisfaction. At this time we’re a small staff and primarily English speakers. In order for us to moderate and provide a quality product, we need to be able to understand what’s being posted both in comments and in the show or movie data. Another reason we want the titles to be in English is that many foreign languages have other characters that can make the searches even more difficult. Hopefully one day we’ll grow enough to be able to support multiple languages. :slightly_smiling_face:
