There is (to my knowledge) no easy way to unhide recommendations that you hide.
Maybe the hidden recommendations could be listed on the hidden items page?
We could, I just never saw the benefit of unhiding a recommendation?
What i had in mind was in the case of accidental hiding of a recommendation but like you say i would understand if this is not very high on the list of things to implement since besides that there is not much benefit to having the option.
