All my scores are wrong

When I open an episode I already scored, it always shows as if I had scored it 9/10 (it does the same thing for entire seasons and shows).

If I look at the list of episodes from a season page, the scores in the list are correctly displayed.

I have the same problem on mobile (android website). I tried clearing my local data and it didn’t fix the issue.
I think the issue started 4-6 weeks ago (I never had this issue in the 8 years before that)

Please post some screenshots of what you’re seeing.

Here is my issue

But, after seeing this, I noticed that the season rating in episode pages was showing the episode rating. So I went and checked an other season to confirm.

As you can see in this first image, I rated season 10 as 9/10 and episode 11 as 7/10 but both ratings are swapped. And in the second image, I rated Season 18 as 7/10 and episode 07 as 8/10 and they were also swapped.
So, for season 18, all episodes are displayed as 7/10 not 9/10 like my initial post said.
Imgur link because I can only embed one image.

Hey @justin , just wanted to make sure you saw my answer to your question from 3 weeks ago.

Please try resetting your browser data and see if that fixes it.

I’m not able to reproduce the issue myself yet.

@justin Resetting my data didn’t work.

  • I tried using Edge instead of Chrome but had the same issue.
  • So I also tried Firefox (to test a non-chromium browser) and had the same issue.
  • I tried the browser on my phone and had the same issue.
  • So I tried downloading the android app for the first time but I have the same issue (well… only half the issue. Only the season ranking is wrong)

Yeah this is a weird bug. Just to confirm, the rating overlay on the poster is correct and the rating in the rating bar always seems to display a 9? Do other shows do this or only South Park? I’m trying to find a clue where to look since I still can’t reproduce the issue myself, and I’m using South Park and the example episode you’ve sent.

Hi @justin , sorry for the delayed answer.

No, the bar doesn’t always show 9. The rating on the poster and the rating in the bar are switched. It’s just that both episodes from my screenshot were from the same season rated 9.
It happens for every episode (of every show, not just South Park) where I rated the current season.

For example, I rated the Pilot of Brooklyn nine-nine 7 but the first season 9 as you can see in my csv export.

But as you can see in this screenshot, the episode rating (7) is displayed on the season poster and the season rating (9) is displayed on the episode bar.

If I haven’t rated the season yet, both the poster and the bar will show the episode rating.
Also, when I rate an episode, the bar will show the correct episode rating that I just selected but as soon as I refresh, the season rating will replace the episode rating in the bar.

Might it be related to my settings? You could maybe try copying my settings to see if you can replicate the issue.

I made a short video to better demonstrate my issue. Don’t forget to unmute. https://youtu.be/-auT0-xDMjo?si=IMiW4RvJaMa5AQYG

Also, it’s important to mention that the actual data is correct. If I export my data to csv, the ratings are not switched. It really seems to be a display issue.

Oh ok, this is making more sense now. It’s getting confused with the season rating being there and yes, seems like a display issue. I think I have enough to look into this more next week when we’re back in the office.

I’ll have a fix out in this week’s website update.
