Incorrect data in export

ETA: Can somebody else export their data and check the ratings-seasons file(s) to see if this problem is unique to my account or more widespread?

Short description of the issue

  • My exported data is full of a bunch of ratings for seasons of shows that I have never rated or even watched. It also has incorrect ratings for seasons that I did watch and rate.

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • When I imported my data from Trakt into another service, I saw a lot of incorrect data, as explained above. When I checked my exported data, I saw that ratings-seasons-1.json, ratings-seasons-2.json, and ratings-seasons-3.json also have these incorrect ratings.

Screenshots and other visual aids

  • Here are two examples. I did watch and rate Bodyguard season 1, but I did not rate it 10. I have never watched or rated Bridgerton.

  • From the .json file:

Shouldn’t you post screenshots from trakt.

If that’s screenshot is trakt. You did rate it 10?

Oh apparently it was a feature that it won’t be your ratings??? That’s odd.

Apparently you would only be able to get your ratings by downloading an csv from the ratings page.

All impossible for free members now though.

Odd to have non user ratings in the “export YOUR trakt data” feature though.

Oh nvm. I guess that was about the history csv. My bad hahaha.

This only affects ratings for seasons (not shows or movies), which Trakt doesn’t seem to show anywhere since the switch to V3. So I can’t check those ratings on the Trakt website, but the season ratings still exist in the data files. The .json files I downloaded from Trakt show that the problem is with the data stored in Trakt.

I can’t even export my data any longer, no button for export, only import…

Are you on the website? Settings-Data has Export (but no import yet)

The reverse is true for me. This website just breaks more and more every day. Such a horrible mess.

I assumed you were v3 since you didn’t have the VIP tag on your name but that’s a v2 screenshot.

Try it from v3.

Yes, I’m forced into the horribly broken v3, but the Settings links takes me to v2 still. No idea how to get to the new ones. I’m giving up, I’ve stopped caring about this completely broken site now.
