I’ll have to check in a bit. When I last tried horizontal scrolling was gone and support confirmed and told me to click the arrow which brought up a new window. It’s possible they restored it.
I think you mean vertical scrolling? Vertical (scrolling up and down) is gone. Scrolling horizontal (left and right) is what’s been implemented thus far in v3.
No, I do mean moving my finger right to left (horizontal). That was there, yes, but then it was gone and replaced with a window that had vertical scrolling. See the post below where it’s clearly documented.
to be fair you listed nearly every single type of device. the ui changes on each screen size. When I browse the site on my phone i get the horizontal scrolling and the option to select the episodes in the season that was added for the desktop is NOT available on a phone sized screen. I don’t use my tablet except for streaming so I can’t speak to that, but on the website the horizontal scrolling is there if you go to the “wrong” page (episode page vs series page). The series page gives you the option for vertical scrolling, the episode page still uses horizontal scrolling since i assume it hasnt been updated just yet to match the series page
go to any series page and you’ll see a season drop down box. select the season you want to view and click the right arrow next to it for a pop out drawer with a vertical scroll-able list of episodes. If you pull up an episode page it won’t do that and still does horizontal scrolling
i dont mind the horizontal scrolling on the app as much but maybe the drawer would be good. especially for shows like One Piece that have over 1000 episodes since TMDB doesn’t think they use seasons and puts them all in one season
To clarify I’m not using the app on any of these. It’s a browser and the website. I do predominantly use tablets (whether android or iOS). To keep it consistent this is on latest ipadOS in edge browser with desktop mode on (always desktop mode).
TMDB is always doing that nonsense (same for Jujutsu Kaisen). They also won’t keep certain shows together during network change (they say it’s because the network renumbered), meanwhile TVDB, IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and others show it correctly.
Sorry frustrated that trakt is forcing the ID requirement for TMDB and we all know TMDB does their own thing. Rant over.
