I don’t think anyone has cited the origination of this change or its’ intent, which is in the roadmap.
That is what I’d call (smart) RECOMMENDATIONS… why is this in the Up Next section?!
I’m not moving 5000+ items from my Watchlist, I’d rather switch Services. This is seriously eff’d up

I just noticed that the items that i have my up next are including items in the watchlist (they appear as 1x01 (season premiere), on the desktop app they do not appear - as expected and i did not find any option to set that off.

Looks like it has all been fixed now, mine is back to normal sorting again and only current shows I’m watching on up next

Hey Trakt team, thanks for fixing the Up Next issue and mine is back to just showing TV shows I watch which is great.
However, in my Progress section it’s showing Watchlisted shows instead of currently watching/completed. It’s only on the iPhone mobile app and on the browser view its displaying in the normal way. I was just wondering if there’s something I need to update on the app to fix this or if it’s related to the previous Up Next issue? Thanks!

If you still have issues with your Up Next, maybe use For future Up Next changes or open a support ticket if you feel like it is a bug.

Not a bug, but felt like a bug, but you’ve fixed what wasn’t a bug. That’s literally the definition of a bug. Sorry but this makes 0 sense at all. Just say you got it wrong and should have listened to the users before there was a backlash. I’m at least appreciative it’s back to how it was.

Thanks for the update and for listening to the feedback in this thread. My Up Next appears to be back to working how it was before.
My biggest request for any future changes to Up Next (please!!) – whether it be the smarter Up Next or whichever changes Trakt Lite has (I personally don’t like or use Lite) – would be to please allow the ability to keep the current behavior, especially regarding sorting options and which things are included in Up Next. Sorting my in-progress shows by latest watched (and occasionally checking another sort) is all I personally need; I don’t need or want it to be any smarter than that. I very much prefer to stay in control of how things are displayed there.
