I use the website on all my devices, it just seems to work better and offers all the features, compared to the apps which are lacking several features that are only offered on the website.
it’s true not everyting is included in the app yet, but like what functions are missing for you?
Nothing specific, because it’s been a very long time since I tried the native app(s). I’ve just preferred the website on all devices.
I use the website mainly too. I only really use the app when I went to the movies and log the movie right away when in the theatre
Or if I want to look something up from a show or movie when I’m not on my laptop.
Actually what I want is to remove this Recently Aired section, or move it down. I’m not looking to hide captions.
Wouldn’t this be something that is relatively easy to accomplish using something like uBlock Origin using element picker or your own filters?
Because while it seems to be something you dislike, I’d assume there’s plenty of others like myself who do like it as currently configured. It’s far easier for one person to adapt something for their personal preference than it would be to make others jump through hoops to try and re-add something.
That is actually my question, if you check my original question was if VIPs can remove this on their pages?
No, we can’t
No, being VIP doesn’t add the ability to remove that section…so your question has been answered several times. That’s functionality (and design) that is globally visible to everyone. I doubt the development team would remove that for just one person, or even spend the time to try and add some other “workaround”.
What @CajunRob is suggesting is using a browser plugin like “Adblock Plus” that allows you to hide different elements of websites using their built in scripting that takes advantage of the javascript DOM. It’s a hack way to do it, but it works.
I actually do this for websites that find ways to get around ad blockers and still show ads…it’s a pretty nifty “hack” to hide things.
