Hi!
I am new to this site as of today.
And i have a question about only the person that have
put up a show on this site can change the release date
Because it is wrong dates to the swedish Julkalender Sunes Jul.
We use TMDB and TVDB for all movie and TV show data. Any incorrect release dates can be corrected there, then Trakt will auto update about 24 hours later. Thanks!
Alright. Thanks for quick respond.
It seems that Covid has messed a lot up, slowed production, delayed release them air date.
I keep getting notifications about films released, but they aren’t there.
It is causing a lot of extra problems and work, to try and find the real air date as different sources are giving different dates! And none of them are right! Very frustrating
I haven’t yet found one source that has them all right.
I would love to hear of one source that knows all!
I feel your pain and I suspect Trakt does too! They can only show the information that is presented to them… But get the flack on the front line.
One thing I am finding, that is causing some confusion. It seems some are given as “release date” and others are publishing it as “air date”
Things I find as “released” (reel one and free dolphin for example) don’t appear to be on any channel guide. But when I get a notification, it says “this program was aired today” or something.
My message is probably even more confusing. Sorry!
I’ve been told that http://www.thefutoncritic.com/ is very reliable as it’s based off of press releases from production companies and networks. I understand it’s a non-copyrighted/non-trademarked/legal source of episode and show summaries. The few times I’ve used it so far it seems correct. I haven’t used it enough to have an informed review yet.
Very helpful thank you.
I will check that out.
No it is not confusing. I understand what you are saying.
As I don´t know about what source they are working from som is their and your answer, great info. It is ok answer. When it come to airing dates of swedish program so are [ Svensk mediedatabas (SMDB)
(https://smdb.kb.se/) where you find right dates. So that datbase would be great to use, if this site are getting money to have the right to work frome
This is not happening for Married at First Sight UK. TMDB & TVDB show the right air dates (Airing 4 days a week), for the last couple weeks and Trakt still showing 5 days a week.
