The last few times I’ve flagged comments as “Not English”, the report has been approved within seconds, and the relevant comment immediately removed.
While Trakt could have ninja-speed moderators, I’m very concerned that automation is taking over handling reports, given existing use of “AI” elsewhere on the site. Can we get confirmation that human moderators are still processing reports?
Hi, the comments reported as “Not English” are checked by our system and if it confirms the comment was in fact in another language, it is automatically removed, since it is just a simple check(just like there is an automatic system that doesn’t allow comments on another language). If the system isn’t sure, the comment isn’t approved and goes to the usual human moderation. Also, this wasn’t a recent change.
All other reports are not automated.

I’m still a little wary of automating language detection, given how often I see spurious “Translate to English” buttons on other platforms (e.g. but not limited to YT & FB) when the post/comment is already written in English, but it’s all good if the system in use here has been working for you guys.
