Duplicate plays

Duplicate plays have started showing up and I don’t know why. I tried going through recent history to see if I accidentally marked something twice, but no luck. Maybe episode information has changed and for some reason Trakt created the duplicates? How can I get rid of these? My viewing history is around 7000 items so the de-dupe script I found on Google just times out. I am looking for an official solution to this problem.

I use Trakt as a checklist and am not interested in keeping track of multiple plays. I wish there was an option to turn this off or prevent it from happening.

Please open a support ticket and we can run a process to remove the duplicate plays. We do this process on locked accounts, but it should work in your case too.

I have suddenly found nearly 1400 duplicates have suddenly appeared in my History. (Ticket raised).
With a few people appearing to have this problem, is there a general problem with History?

How do I open a support Ticket? My Trakt consistently creates duplicate plays when I watch a program. It’s kind of annoying. I am a VIP member.

The help ticket button in the bottom right of this forum. Or email support@trakt.tv. We can’t help with a 3rd party app, but we can remove any duplicate plays via support.

Same on my account. Every play is duplicated on my trakt account and I don’t understand why…

Please email support and we can see which app is sending duplicate plays.

I sent an e-mail on 18th september already.
I think it’s coming from the Zidoo Z9X player.
