And all my Thursday night episodes are appearing in Continue Watching 24 hours early. Wtf is going on???

I’ve had Wednesday episodes popping in early all day, but now I see Thursday is fully there too. Airdates are still showing the correct date of April 16, 2026.

Is that issue still happening for you?
We are currently testing a new way to get airdates(to deal with episodes that air earlier on streaming services). If you are having this issue, can you share an example of an episode that is showing up in your “Continue Watching” that shouldn’t be there yet?

Seems to have cleared up overnight for the most part. Last night I was seeing tonight’s episodes of the following (to name a few):

  • Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage 2x16
  • Ghosts 5x16
  • This Old House 47x20
  • Ask This Old House 24x20
  • Matlock 2x14
  • Elsbeth 2x16
  • The Pitt 2x15
  • Hacks 5x2

Those have gone away but I am still seeing episode 27x18 for Law & Order SVU which doesn’t actually air until 9pm ET on 4/23/26.

Hi,
We fixed a bug earlier today related to this. Thanks for the examples.
I’ll check on Law & Order SVU.

As for the ones you reported.
TMDB is our datasource, not TVDB.
On the show “I Want You To Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear” episode 1 of season 3 has an airdate there. If that is wrong, the data needs to be fixed there first.

The data on the show “Frontline” also matches TMDB right now.

“Happy Tree Friends” seems to have several issues comparing to TMDB and TVDB, so I’ll need to take a better look to fix it, so it can match TMDB.

Hi,
Syncs on TMDB can take up to 24 hours to show up on their API, so they can take up to 24 hours to update here. We changed the datasource several years ago.

There were 2 hidden duplicated episodes on Frontline and I’ve just merged them, please check if it shows only 1 remaining now. If the issues isn’t fixed, do you know if you have any unwatched episodes of that show?

I mentioned TVDB on that show because the data on both databases and at Trakt for that show is different. We can use TVDB as a comparison, in case TMDB is incorrect. Since TMDB has several seasons without airdates, I checked TVDB too.

Also, please, be respectful on how you are making these reports.

Hi,
We say up to 24 hours because there is also the time for it to refresh here. While pages do show up fast on their API, some data takes a while. We say 24 hours to guarantee all data will be imported.

Happy Tree Friends has hidden duplicates messing with the refresh, it is an issue the developers will have to take a look.

Hi,
Law & Order SVU should be correct now. There was a bug because the airdate changed recently. Let me know if there are any other cases like this!

Hi,
It seems the airdate of “I Want You To Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear” updated after you replied here.

Please check if Happy tree friends is correct now. The hidden duplicates have been merged and the data should match TMDB now.
