As of late there appears to be an influx of newly registered users visiting the forum for various but obvious reasons.
While discussions have remained civil, these new users seem to have entered here with the “Reddit” downvote mentality and are imho abusing the reporting of posts.
Politely worded opinions by many users that contravene the views of these newcomers are constantly being reported so as to have them hidden from views until such time a moderator / staff can unhide them.
Frankly this is juvenile. Disagreeing with someone’s view isn’t “offensive” if it’s done politely.
I’d suggest either disabling the auto-hide feature completely, revert it to a true report feature causing an actual review by Trakt before it gets hidden / deleted, or impose some kind of time limited factor that members don’t have the ability to report until they’ve been here and have contributed for a while.
