"Hide Watchlist" filter no longer excludes movies from private lists

Hi all.

When browsing Trending Movies, enabling the “Hide Watchlist” filter only hides movies that are actually in my Watchlist. Movies that are already in my private list are still displayed.

I don’t use the Watchlist to keep track of movies I want to watch. Instead, I maintain a private custom list for that purpose.

In Trakt v2, when browsing Trending Movies, enabling the filter to hide Watchlist items also hid movies that were already saved in my private list (or at least they were excluded from the results).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a private custom list with a few movies.
  2. Go to Trending Movies.
  3. Enable the Hide Watchlist filter.
  4. Movies already saved in the private list are still shown.

Expected behavior:
Ideally, there should be a way to exclude (or at least visually fade) movies that are already present in private custom lists, similar to how Trakt v2 behaved (The fade feature was lit).

Actual behavior:
Only Watchlist items are hidden. Movies already saved in private lists remain fully visible.

It would be great to see the old Fade functionality return, or alternatively allow the filter to work with custom lists as well. That made browsing Trending much more efficient for users who organize their “to watch” movies using private lists instead of the Watchlist.

Thanks!

Adding a filter for custom lists would be the way to go here, the “Hide Watchlist” filter seems to be working as intended

Yes, it would be perfect to maintain the same set of filters available in V2 :slightly_smiling_face:
