History/watches no longer showing on movie pages (it does for series/episodes)

This is not really a question, but more of an issue/bug report (new category? :wink:)

I think this is something that has only started happening this week. But I didn’t notice it before. Perhaps this issue is even related to this issue posted a few days ago:

There’s a bunch of movies I’ve watched at least twice, and five movies I’ve seen thrice. But now, when I navigate a movie I’ve seen, regardless of how many times I’ve seen it, it still shows the “add to history” bar as if I hadn’t seen it at all.

this means I also cannot remove the movie from history from the movie page (not that I would do that. And if ever I’d have logged a movie by accident, I can just go into recent history and remove it from there. But this is still super odd. And I’d really like to see on the movie page whether I had already seen a movie.

It also no longer shows the purple ticks in search for movies, but it does for TV:

The same happens when viewing my own profile, the purple ticks are there for episodes, but not for movies

Have you tried resetting browser data?

As @arcreactor mentioned, resetting the browser data should fix it. Seems like the movie data got corrupted for some reason. It should also fix itself the next time you add a new movie to your history.

Oh! How do you access that page from a menu or something? I looked through setting if there was something iffy there but found nothing strange.

I logged out and in of course too.

Now I see that it does work all properly on my mobile phone (I am not home and don’t have access to my laptop), so I’ll try that tomorrow!

It is only accessible via direct link right now.
