Missing ratings (older than ~1 year)

I noticed that almost all my ratings are missing, older than 1.10.2023 (I am pretty sure I had them)
Do we have any expiration time on our ratings? Is it possible to recover them?

If they’re really gone. Also from the ratings page. Maybe an app went rogue. Or synched their data (where you didn’t rate it) to trakt. Basically deleting the rating.

If they are on the ratings page in your profile. Reset browser data in advanced settings menu.

Thank you! I suspect one of the connected apps, I had a lot (some sync probably overwritten some data). Now I am setting all the ratings manually again, I hope they won’t disappear in 1 year

Good point.

I log everything manually so I don’t even think of backups :joy:

If trakt ever disappears, so be it. There’s no alternative for me :joy:

It’s issues like this that keep me from using 3rd party apps. I’d rather open the show/movie in their respected services (Hulu/Netflix/Paramount+/etc) and watch what I want then while things are spooling up I open this website on what ever device I have handy (usually my phone or desktop) and manually log the data (check-in, rate, etc).
