Is there something going in with Trakt's report/question system?

I’m trying to report dupes, but I can’t get the message to sent, and I get Forbidden errors, and sometimes I can’t “log on”.

I don’t know what’s happening! I could post a reaction to an old report just fine earlier.

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one? Try clearing browser data? https://trakt.tv/settings/data . Have you tried different devices?

I’m not sure what’s up with the issues on the support site. It’s hosted by UserVoice and doesn’t share any functionality with the Trakt website. I’m not able to reproduce any issues on my side, but I’m guessing UserVoice is being too aggressive in spam or location filters. I’ll see if I can find any settings or info on the admin. I’m on a Windows device (Microsoft Surface Pro with latest Windows 10 version) in the Netherlands right now by the way. Not using any kind of VPN or whatever to fool websites about your location. Only other browser besides Google Chrome I have is Edge. Where I have the same “Forbidden” page.

I also tried from my phone (iPhone SE, iOS version 13.7) on Safari, and have the same result. Haven’t tried from my Macbook Pro (Safari and Google Chrome) yet, but I assume I’ll get the same error.

Oh, and funfact. Maybe uservoice in general has somehow banned me. I googled for other uservoice support sites, and I have the same error for all the different company pages! Any idea how I should proceed, @justin ?

That does sound like an overall UserVoice issue. I’ll take a look in our admin, but it doesn’t sound specific to just Trakt’s UserVoice and I’m not sure we have control if they are throwing that error for everything they host.

It could be your IP address was blacklisted, have you tried accessing using a cellular connection?

I just had the issue again! Maybe it’s some automatic system after posting too many links haha!

This time I didn’t file them all at once! I think I did 10 at a time or something!

Anyhow, I think this one didn’t post yet. So putting it her to remind myself I checked these and added correct missing info on tmdb when/if needed.

Yeah, I’m guessing that is spam protections from UserVoice.

I’m having the same issue again. Two days ago it worked, but I tried to log on and I got kicked out immediately again? Is it possible for my IP to be whitelisted or something?

I did a Google Search about forbidden/uservoice and I found a thread on the support page that I can’t see:

Or did I create that myself, haha! Or can I use a different way to report bad entries? I’ve stumbled upon so many now, haha. There’s so much trash in specials on tvdb (namely movies) that need to be deleted from trakt and manually changed to use TMDB as a source.

You could check to see if more than a couple major anti-spam databases have blocked you…

Have you had an opportunity to try logging in from anywhere away from your personal network?
That would tell you if it is a problem on your end or with uservoice itself.
