1.5 months ago I reported an issue with the Discover page. It is broken. The “Top TV Shows Last Week” and “Top Movies Last Week” sections have both been wrong for the past two or more months.
Two months.
1.5 months ago I was told in my support thread that “it should be fixed soon”. My last three messages over the past month have been ignored.
This is a feature that I used to depend on heavily to find inspiration for what to watch in a week, but now I have to use the normal Shows and Movies parts of the site instead.
If the database query to power the discover page doesn’t work anymore, why can’t it be changed to use the same database query that powers the normal Movies and Shows sections?
So, I ask, is Trakt still being developed or actively worked on by engineers? If so, why does it take 2+ months for a bug fix that could be as simple as switching the database query or API request to re-use what another page uses?
What is my VIP money being spent on if the features I use are broken and aren’t being fixed? Why should I continue to pay money after price increases if bugs aren’t being fixed for multiple months?
Thanks.
