I haven’t been able to scrobble any TV episodes since July 2nd 2024. Movies scrobble perfectly.
We’d need more info from the app developer. A 429 means the app is sending too many API calls at once. You might also check you aren’t running multiple versions of the same Kodi add-on.
I’m not totally sure the 429 error is causing this issue anymore. I did a clean install with the bare minimum and clicked “watched” on one episode. I also enabled the setting that removes missing episodes from Trakt. Kodi removed hundreds of my collected episodes instantly from my Trakt account, but didn’t add that one single watched episode to Trakt.
The log in the clean install does NOT show the 429 error, no errors whatsoever actually, yet the issue persists.
I’ve been using Kodi/Trakt for years with no problems until July 2nd. The Kodi Trakt app was last updated May 25th.
