Move "on watchlist" to "watched"

I migrated my watched movies from IMDb to trakt. However if the movie wasn’t rated on IMDb it moved it to “on watchlist” and there are thousands of movies now on that list that I need moved to “watched”.

Must be a way to do this?

There isn’t a way to do that on the website, it’s not a super common use case which is why there isn’t a bulk action like that. The Trakt API could be used to do this with a custom script. Or maybe the IMDB importer app can be updated with an option to add to your watched history even if unrated?

There is no way to move everything from “on watchlist” to “watched”? At all?? Shouldn’t there be a simple database tag?

No, it’s stored differently in the database.

Crazy, I would literally have to hand click each one? Guess I can’t fully switch to trakt yet but a feature with the ability to import watched list from other sites like IMDb would be helpful. I shall continue to use IMDb as it’s less messy is regards to lists and whatnot.

@nine76evil,
there are tools available to do this. The two I remember, having used them, were on github I just don’t remember there names however a little Google Fu would be all that was necessary to find them.

The only one I have found is traktrater which is what I used to initially import from IMDb to trakt but it puts watched that are unrated on “on watchlist” which is the issue.
