Multiple feature requests (and a bug)

Hey!

Probably you came here for a bug, so here it is with 2 filters opened at the same time (I’m using Safari)

And to the features (maybe some are duplications, especially the first one, but I just want to highlight it again)

1. Maybe it’s time to consider support of more, than one country for movies/shows. For example, Oman has 0 movies on Trakt, which is absolutely not true. Or you have Western Sahara/Svalbard on the map in All Stats - but those are not even available in the ‘countries’ filter. They’re killing my interest to complete this map, as I know that few gray spots will be there no matter what.

2. I really like the Dashboard and having everything in one place. What could make it even better - is having the Wachlist there, just to conveniently track what I placed there a few months ago and now could barely remember why it was watchlisted in the first place.

3. Add Prequels/Sequels as some separate page - e.g. based on Collections
   Like there is this Mad Max Collection
   I’ve seen 3 out of 4 movies - so it would be nice to have some kind of a prompt, that ‘Check it out - there is more in this series’.
   

   

4. Kinda like the previous one - but maybe it is worth trying to show something new in the Discover section, except those 16 feature lists that are there all the time. For example, Halloween-themed list now, or a few Christmas-themed in December.

5. Loading the shows with many seasons is a nightmare - like in my case more than 1min for https://trakt.tv/shows/doctor-who
   Maybe it’s worth adding some pagination or removing seasons from the show’s main page.
   

   

6. Also would be fun to have something like ‘Achievements’ - maybe as a kind of insight into Year stats. It’s actually interesting, good incentive to watch something new - not only Chaplin’s for silent movies or Parasite for Korean.

Thanks for the ideas. I’ll have the filter bug fixed later today.

1. We save the first country from TMDB. I’ve thought about saving all countries too, but it would require some backend re-architecture so it hasn’t been high on the priority list.
2. Items on your watchlist display on the schedule and (optionally) in your up next. How would a watchlist section be sorted?
3. Perhaps a new progress page that displays official lists for the movies you’ve watched. I’ve thought about this before too, just have’t figured out a good way to do it yet that is also performant.

5. Hmm, that page loads in a few seconds for me. What specifically is taking so long or not loading quickly?
6. We’ve considered this in the past, just haven’t prioritized it since some users would add data just to unlock badges. Perhaps if it was only personal to the user and not globally ranked.

1,3. Thanks, hope to use those someday.

2. ‘Include Watchlisted’ adds only shows, not movies to the ‘Up next’.
   Regarding sorting - I think that the IMDb way could be copied here to display ranked by popularity. In this case, I see what is popular among the items I watchlisted, not the overall.
   Probably not by the date added, because some watchlisted items could be too far from release.
   

   

3. Sorry, that appeared to be a surprise from AdGuard (even though I specifically disabled it on Trakt).

4. Agree on user-personal. At most, it could be visible to others who looks into the profile. Global ranking will just make it as any travel tracking app where some can add only flights for 500 days per year.
