Odd Website Issue

If I got to trakt.tv, the main page displays properly. However, if I then try to sign in, the page that is returned is blank/white.

I have tried on both Chrome and Edge. Deleted cookies, etc and flushed DNS, etc. but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Have you tried incognito mode yet with extensions disabled. I doubt that would fix it since it would be highly unlikely that on both Edge (who uses that except people forced by their work) and Chrome have an extension messing up Trakt. But itā€™s worth a shot.

Otherwise I suggest contacting support directly through DMs or email. Might be faster than the forums.

Iā€™ve logged in and out several times trying to reproduce this issue and I canā€™t. Iā€™ve tried Chrome/Firefox/Opera/Edge/Safari/Vivaldi/Brave and even DuckDuckGoā€¦and cannot reproduce this.

**** Note: please donā€™t make fun of my list of browsers. Iā€™m a web developer so I have to test all my websites and web apps on every browser thatā€™s popular these daysā€¦LOL

Yep, even though some of these browsers use the same rendering engines, they each have highly customized backends that make each one specific. Iā€™m sure you are very aware.

I had this exact problem a few days ago, and it still hasnā€™t been resolved. Iā€™ve tried everything. Edge, Opera, Firefox, deleting cookies, special firewall rules. IP authorization, DNSā€¦ To no avail.

UPDATE: My problem is solved! It was the VPN that was causing it.

Iā€™ve added the trakt.tv into the domains excluded from the VPN, but still getting the blank page when I try to log in or authorize the login from mdblistā€¦

Hi, I have NordVPN. I just turned off all Threat Protection Pro features, and that solved my problem. Iā€™m currently in contact with support. If we get closer to the cause, Iā€™ll let you know. I hope I was able to help and that this will solve the problem for you too.
