Everyone asking for unlimited lists are a primary reason why pricing is going up (though Iâm sure there are many other reasons). Computationally, massive lists are where a ton of costs go given the complexity and scale. Itâs why SIMKL doesnât have any type of actual collection tracking as the complexity and resources needed skyrocket.
I wonât be renewing though because of their blatent mis-representation of renewals during the price increase window (sept 24) AND beacuse the benefits I renewed with indicated my pricing would stay the same. I expect at least one more year of $30 before i would consider longer term.
But the reality is that not many people want or need dozens of lists. I have 16 and am confident that I could manage with 10. Itâs only since the number of lists have been drastically cut that this has become an issue.
What youâre also forgetting is that all the personal lists from other users ala Marvel movies, Disney animation and co. so community lists and no 8 lists are enough. I have watch lists, for example, and have 30 lists. I would never get these reduced to 8, because then, on the other hand, the limit of a ridiculous 100 entries would be exceeded again.
For myself to stay subscribed, I would need Full PLEX sync, I still have 1000âs of movies that i have in PLEX that havenât synced over to Trakt and I havenât the time to do them all manually.
Yes, I know there are Gits out there for this, but Iâm fed up of preforming tricks and jumping through hoops, so PLEX integration would be great.
