Will there be any black Friday sale?

Was just about to finally subscribe just to support, but $60 is a bit steep for me as I doubt I’ll make use out of anything except year in review :sweat_smile:

No plans for a Black Friday sale.

I’ve send an email to support 3 days ago with no feedback, what is the average response time?

We are in Thanksgiving holiday in the US, so response times will be delayed this week a bit.

At $85 Canadian per year this has unfortunately become a service that I need to cut. Pity there’s no Black Friday sales from what I’m gathering. Certainly a far cry from what Trakt used charge when I signed up 10 years ago or so.

I‘m currently subscribed but cancelled my auto-renewal as I do in general with all my subscriptions, because I don’t want to be surprised by one I forgot and still would have to pay for.
I wrote an email to support about that and got told because auto-renewal was cancelled, it was considered as a new subscription with the new pricing which I find pretty sad to say the least.
I would understand that if my subscription had expired and I wanted to subscribe again but not while I‘m still subscribed.
Maybe you could reconsider your stance on cases like mine @justin

That is very much against what was stated here. They said everyone would be grandfathered at their current prices and any issues with auto subscription would be addressed by support.

Hopefully it’s a simple miscommunication. Keep us posted.

For me it didn’t sound like there’s anything that could be done about that
Here’s the message from support:
„ Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, since your automatic renewal was canceled, it would be considered a new vip subscription and isn’t eligible for the original pricing.“

That’s the response I got as well. I just don’t want to bug them as they must have a lot of work to do because of the holidays. Hopefully it gets resolved. I would like to keep supporting this great service.

@Roeshimi I think they not able to give you the original price as that would mean they would have to give everyone that price, then it’s not fair to those who have their subscription on auto renew. That’s my thoughts anyway. I’m still sorry that you can’t get the original pricing.
