Recommendation filtering on Dashboard

I’m pretty sure I have seen this requested before, but on the search I tried, it only pulled up a similar topic from back in 2021.

What I would like to request is to be able to filter out (or as in the image below, Ignore) shows that I have already “watched” or that I have already Rated.

It seems like my recommendations are always bloated with shows that I have already watched and/or already rated. Here’s an example. In mine, I keep getting these recommendations:

Battlestar Galactica
The Newsroom
Fringe
The Fall
(Just to name a few)

But I have watched these, I have rated these but they are still showing up in that section of my dashboard. I guess my major request would be able to “Ignore Rated” because for performance (website) purposes I have had to remove a ton of watch history from older shows that have Ended. The site would crash because I had well over 250k episodes watched.

This seems like a very edge case and I don’t think we’d add a specific setting to include rated items. In general if you’ve rated, you also have it marked as watched which is already filtered out. I understand your account has a large amount of data, but this isn’t a common use case.

I guess I’ll slowly go back with each show, and mark them all as watched. That is, until the large amount of data starts causing issues again.

I was just thinking the logic could include “rated” as well to help filter things out of that section. It seems to me people will also Rate a show since they have watched in the distant past but didn’t record the watching history on this site, so they still might not want to see it recommended.
