Stremio creating duplicate Trakt history entries for the same movie/episode

Every time I open or play a movie or an episode in Stremio, it scrobbles to Trakt as a brand new entry, creating multiple duplicate records in my history for the exact same content.

​I am experiencing an issue with the Trakt integration on Stremio. Whenever I open, play, or resume a movie or a TV show episode, Stremio seems to send a new scrobble request to Trakt instead of updating a single viewing session.

​As a result, my Trakt history gets cluttered with duplicate entries. As you can see in the attached screenshots, the exact same items are being logged multiple times consecutively on the exact same day just because the stream was initiated.

​Is there a known fix or a setting I need to adjust to ensure a movie or episode is only scrobbled once per complete watch? Any help or guidance on resolving this bug would be greatly appreciated.

This looks like a bug with how Stremio implements the Trakt API rather than a Trakt issue. I’d recommend reporting it to the Stremio developers directly.
