In my screenshot above, that’s on the full website in a web browser. I am not sure what the native apps offer…nor what the Lite version offers. It’s plain as day under the show/movie “card”: Hide.
Not sure why you don’t see it.
Also, I’ve said in other threads as well…I wished they would add a button at the bottom of this screenshot so that the Hide option is plain as day:
Not sure either but it’s NOT visible here, website (desktop, phone and iPad) or app (iPhone and iPad). Or at least not that I can see. And if it’s that hidden it’s utterly useless despite your constant ridiculing attempts to try and belittle people seeking a better solution for this request.
What’s your deal? I haven’t been “ridiculing” or "belittle"ing people. Please quote one post I have made (since coming back - I left for a month so don’t bring up anyting pre-March) that has been even close to what you are claiming.
Wait, never mind. I don’t want to hijack this thread. If you don’t like what I post, just ignore me…and definitely don’t reply to me.
are you using any adblockers or content/privacy blockers? those could be keeping those from appearing, but they definitely do appear at the bottom of the recommendations section on the dashboard. Or even maybe if you’ve resized the page (zoomed in/out). Just trying to think of anything that could be keeping them from appearing like they should.
Any other place, I haven’t noticed them and I do wish they were on the show/movie pages like Terry mentioned. It would make it extremely easy to just block/hide something from there, or even to unblock/unhide from the same place would be nice too
With regards to Hiding as it is currently, it’s a bit more specific to sections (and could be considered confusing naming), compared to what @OhmissLaura seems to be after, which to me sounds more like marking as ‘not interested’ (Mark as "not interested"). Most of the above comments since @OhmissLaura’s first one probably belong there and I’d encourage you to continue the discussion of that over there.
While also slightly off topic to this thread, regarding @CajunRob not being able to find the hide options. They’re a little hidden in the apps, generally requiring a long press (there’s no obvious ••• menu at the moment).
These may provide more context:
Hiding recommendations:
Hiding from Progress:
We’ve introduced a ‘Drop’ in Trakt Lite (see image below - select the ••• option in the Up Next section items and choose ‘Drop Show’) which currently acts almost identical as hiding shows from your Progress and Calendar at the same time (also possible using the Hide option in iOS when hiding from Progress). This should be rolled out to the apps in time, but for the most part the end result remains about the same. Ideally we’ll have the ability to do this within the Show/episode page also, but no ETA on that.
I’m inclined to consider this thread closed/solved considering we have Set TV Show as Dropped, Watching, Completed or on-hold which has more votes on it and otherwise is probably more specifically a feature request, but otherwise these are related and/or could be merged. Feel free to open another thread for any of the other addressed issues.
