The mobile app for iOS no longer functions for my primary use case

Sorry if I’m putting this in the wrong place. I’ve never posted on the forums before because everything’s worked for me just fine. I’ve never felt the need to give feedback. But recently, you removed my primary use case from the mobile app. I am a paying member and have been for quite a while. Since June of 2022.

I use this site primarily above all else to inform me when a show that I’ve ever watched ever gets a new episode. So many shows get reboots or a new season or have an irregular release schedule.

However, for some reason, the app has gotten rid of the ability to do this, as does the new website. See, it took me like an hour to figure out how to get back to the normal website. There was no obvious button on your weird iPad app of a website. Because my phone apparently no longer tells me, now I’ve gotten back to Classic View and I can see it again. It’s called Up Next. It is sorted the exact way I need. It’s the entire reason I pay for this thing. Have I ever watched a show? Does it have a new episode? Sort it by. What show I’ve watched. Newest release.

Sorry if that sounds a little rambly, I’m just very upset that I can no longer do this from my phone. Please fix this. I have an iPhone and they don’t have version history. There’s no way for me to revert. And I don’t want to have to go to the website on my phone for something I should be able to access from an app.

This is extremely upsetting to me. For the very small amount of time I do have time to watch shows, I need to be able to open this up, find out what has a new episode, and then go watch it. If that’s not a priority of Trakt anymore, I will be looking for a new service. Please let me know if this is still a priority.

they just updated the website to fix the sorting options for the “up next/continue watching” section so it should be coming to the mobile apps shortly
