TMDb - How to get them to do something

Who’s leg does a guy have to hump to get TMDb to fix an error on their site so that data on here is showing correctly? 3 months I’ve been waiting for them to delete Family Shatters from being the last season of Red vs Blue.

If anyone has an in with someone from that site, please tell them to do their job.

First tip: don’t post it with that attitude.

Second tip: post sources along with “remove this and that” or “change this and that”. Not everyone is well-versed in the world of whatever it is your watching and sending reports for. Even if it might be obvious to you, or easily to find with a google search. Still offer as much information as you can.

Third tip: don’t bump your posts unless it’s 3 months old or something, they’ve got more to do, and unfortunately, last time I checked there’s no way for them to easily filter out the completed and pending reports. They won’t like it. Even if it’s just a simple duplicate person profile, or empty profile or whatever …

I did make a detailed account of what they needed to fix complete with links and all the information they need to make the correction. 3 months and no response? This is unacceptable.

So, yeah I see your point about there needing to be more official references in the request, but the wiki has a link to that page that I have now offered up as official proof.

I feel like they could use wikis if a reference to an official source is on the page.

I have to retract my anger towards TMDB. They are not the ones for the source of the data, this happens to still be TVDB.

For some reason, I am unable to log in there and raise a ticket to get them to remove Shatter Squad as the last season for the series. Would someone be willing to help me and raise this. I even have the verifiable source that will aid this.

Is this were you went to raise a ticket? https://support.thetvdb.com/ because I believe you have to create a separate account via the support page to login.

Yeah I tried that didn’t work.

Was a little outta sorts last night and didn’t have the patience. I’ll give it another try later.

We could potentially migrate Red vs. Blue to TMDB, but they don’t have seasons 18 or 19. I don’t know enough about this show to know where those episodes should actually be listed.

If they’d only removed the (non) season 19 then would be pretty spot on.

I alerted them to the fact that they still got it wrong, but they aren’t responding.

Also, I managed to create a ticket at TVDb. Waiting to see how that goes.
