V3 looks so awful.. I can belive I’m paying so much for something that angers me trying to use it.
I tried adding an episode as “watched” on another past date and apparently i have to go hunt for the date in my history instead of using the calendar button. It’s insane..
I have to rely on addons to get v2 and have this site usable..

I already stopped my subscription because I couldnt figure out, how to go to older version. Finding where to log out was kinda pain too.

V3 still has MANY functions that I often use from V2 that are either not working or not present at all. I can get over changes in how UI looks (appearances change all the time), but I cannot accept losing functionality. Heck, parts of the setting screen doesn’t even load in V3! How the f do you mess that up?

I finally took the plunge and cancelled my VIP as well. It is stunning how little acknowledgement there is from Trakt on actual user feedback. I run product at a mid-size company, and if there was this type of negativity that flagged numerous regressions and misalignment of goals, I would be forced to completely reassess the larger strategy. Complete mess, and it’s a shame because I’ve used Trakt for 7+ years. But V3 is basically useless to me since all the important features are missing, and I’ve seen the way even features that exist in V3, e.g the Year in Review, were shadows of the older versions. I see no real improvements that justify the regressions either.
These issue stem from poor decision-making at the top. I’ve not followed the new hires and changes to leadership, but my trust is completely gone. It feels entirely like enshittification and a disregard for user feedback.
