I created my account just now, 3 days ago, but Trakt doesn’t allow me to comment on any movie or tv show, I wanted to know if it’s an error, is it a temporary measure for new accounts? and if I try to comment on Android it gives me an error, thanks.
PD: I can’t see the comment option on the web version, but I can on Android. However, when I try to submit a comment on Android, it gives me an error.
In case your commenting in your non English native language, try typing a comment in English.
I for example am unable to post in Dutch… On a Dutch tv show.
I’ve always tried to comment in English, but it doesn’t let me. I don’t see the option to comment on the web, I only see other people’s comments. On Android I can comment, I do it in English and still get an error.

I believe there is a delay on new accounts before you’re able to comment due to spam issues. You should be able to comment in a couple of days. I’ll make a note to make this more clear in the app instead of showing errors.
I’m a relatively new user as well and am alerted that my request timed out whenever I try to add a comment on movies or shows as well. Even in English. Frustrating.
As mentioned, new accounts can’t comment immediately and will gain the ability after a few days of using Trakt.
