$15 to $60. Rough. 13 years for this guy.
Of course, a smaller price hike each year would have been a way better idea.

I just read the mail. I thought it was a phishing mail. But it’s not. Renewal with promo is from $15 to $30 to $60 in 2 years. Without promo $15 to $60. Increase of 400%. What do I get for this?
Just like a lot more, I will also cancel my VIP-subscription before renewal (February 24th 2026).

100% increase is way too much. I have enjoyed my VIP membership but this is more than I am prepared to pay.
I barely used this service over the years, but was fine with just being a support member at the price it was, this price change made me cancel. Thanks for helping me clean up some of my spendings!

I’m thinking about canceling too. It’s not about the money 60USD yearly is not so high price, but this service isn’t really worth it. That VIP features are nice, but simply not worth so much money.
But the worst part of this is that 100% price increase, if you raised price from 30 to for example 40 dollars, then it would be understandable, but 60 out of the blue? Like wtf?

You can cancel your renewal at any time. It won’t affect your current subscription.

I only use VIP for the increased number of items on a list (and I guess dark mode on the website LOL), so the doubled increase in price is absolutely not worth it to me.

I’ve been a VIP member for 8 years. Trakt promised that I’d be grandfathered into my plan and that my price would never change — clearly, that promise meant nothing. I’ll be canceling my membership before it renews. You’ve just lost another long-time supporter.

12 year VIP “OG” here as well. 4x price increase for me is absolutely insane. I will be canceling my VIP along with everyone else as well. I don’t even use any of the premium features other than the manual refresh for some shows that I’m trying to help repopulate the metadata for other users 
I wanted to support the devs and have been supporting them for many years, but this price hike is just insane. Will move to another service instead.

their lifetime looks great, and you can also win a free pro upgrade from a free plan if you use the service for 20 days a month!! That sound great. And as it seems they fully support importing the data from trakt
