When I am using Kodi and I sign into my Trakt account, for some reason it is showing Jarvis-14937416 as my account name, why? That’s not my correct name for my account.There is nothing in the account, no saved films or series. Please can somebody help because it is becoming annoying. I have to change the whole account, cancel everything and then even have a different email address, when I do all that and start a new account. It’s fine for a few weeks and it goes back to Jarvis, but with different numbers.
Please can somebody help me get rid of this? Many thanks.

“Jarvis” was the code name for Kodi v16. Any chance you are using such an old version of Kodi?
Thanks for the reply, mate. Unfortunately, no, I am using the latest version of kodi. I just have not got a clue what’s going on. I can delete everything and do a new account but within the week or so it will do it again and everything that I have saved in the favourites disappears
Not something I’ve ever heard but it doesn’t sound like a Trakt issue. I’d suggest you post in Reddit r/Addons4Kodi and include the addon(s) you are using as well as a link to your Kodi.log https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Kodi_Logfile_Uploader

Jarvis-[numbers] is a dummy username for new users who don’t enter one. I think if you make your account though apple or something. You can make your own username on the Trakt Settings page!
If you sign out and in it should sync to the forums too.
Oh if you did change your username, and later on it does get changed, I do think an app or extension is going rogue and changing your username in your place 
This is correct. Jarvis-00000 is the generic username given to accounts that don’t choose a username. If you’re able to sign in on the trakt.tv website and your information is correct, make sure that you’re using that same information when signing in to any 3rd party apps. When I signed into my Trakt I know my username and my password, my username I use is Spodge i’ve always used it and that’s what I put into my trakt account when I was using kodi, but like I said in my first message it was fine for about a week and then suddenly I go to my favourites to put something to watch but all my favourites have all disappeared so I checked my username and it has been changed to Jarvis followed by a load of numbers. I’ve had my Trakt account for years.
I’d suggest reaching out to the developers of the app you’re using then. Your trakt account with username Spodge appears fine on our end, and as previously mentioned, Jarvis-00000 is the generic username given to accounts that don’t choose a username. It sounds like you’re getting signed into a different account.
It’s also possible that you’re running into issues because your collection is over the limit of allowed collection items for free trakt accounts. You can view your specific account limits here. However, the limits wouldn’t cause the issue of creating a new account.
