Where is the option to select the display template in All Time Stats?
Why are you forcing us to use the view you want instead of leaving us the rich option to select the template we actually like?
I canāt help but reflect on the changes made over this last year. You talk a big game about making Track feel more like a āhomeā every day, but it is starting to feel more like a dictatorship than the home or community it used to be.
How many people who have been here for years have you driven away with your new policies and updates?
Personally, I am going to take some time to think about whether I really want to keep paying for a service that you are killing off while you create a new service focused on a different audience.
The decision to tie Year in Review to the year it was produced was made to reduce any issues regarding supporting multiple templates. As new statistic types are added (for example this yearās percentile rankings comparing your statistics to the Trakt community) maintaining the compatibility with past templates impacted performance.
While that does mean less of the flexibility youāre used to right now, the goal is to allow new stats and features to be added more reliably going forward.
I understand that argument for the actual EOY templates and it makes sense to me.
However, given the page is the default template for like 98% of the year when running into āYear to Dateā mode why remove the option for that view?
Thatās the one Iām used to and use frequently throughout the year and for all time stats. Or will Year to Date and All Time stats now use the current EOY template?
For all time, I see the argument for picking your poison. Once we have some breathing room around YIR for this year, Iāll revisit this to see if we can make it work without introducing a lot of āif this year + this template, then hide x, y and zā
(this is really not from my 2025 year in review, page even though it says āIn 2025, you watchedā)
Where are these new stats youāre talking about? I see less stats than what we previously had. Like whereās the TV & Movie release year graphs that we used to have? Or your rating distributions?
And why the need to have such huge tiles for your top 10 most watched TV/movies. Looks ridiculous on desktop with each tile taking up an entire screen.
Out of curiosity, what are these percentile rankings you mention @Kristin ? I went through my Year in Review again and couldnāt find them, not sure if Iām missing out on something
