I know that services that make suggestions based on your watched history, etc… exist.
But why not have that built into Trakt, thanks to AI?

For those who are reading the thread and might be wondering what are the current options for recommendations based on Trakt history, I personally use CouchMoney (https://couchmoney.tv/). Easy to use and very customisable plug-in for discovering new stuff based on personal preferences.

Why don’t you share your movies and shows statistics with an AI and ask for suggestions? Chat GPT-4 show yeild great results!
Trakt already has suggestions, at least they show up for me. What exactly are you requesting beyond the features that already exist?
I think this is a great idea.
I had developed a similar tool for myself, the algorithm is the same, compare with people that like the same things you do and give suggestions based on that.
I don’t know how he made it that efficient to be used by everyone, the results differ a bit from mine - in my case, but they are also good.
It would be very nice if trakt implemented by themselves a similar algo for VIP members (similar to how simkl does).
