When I use trakt on the web, for a few days now none of the non-link items (I assume they’re javascript functions or something similar) lead to a page saying “you are already signed in” for me. I cannot rate items, I cannot add them to my wishlist, I cannot drop or rewatch shows. Essentially the site is broken for me.

I didn’t change anything in my browser extensions in the past years, so I don’t see why a browser extension would suddenly cause this. It must be a change on trakt’s side.
I did whoever try to log in to a different browser, and was appaled to see a horrendous new interface. Is this supposed to be trakt lite? Is this just trakt now? I don’t see an option anywhere to revert to the old interface in that browser. If that’s really the case, I think it will be the end of me and trakt after 7 years (this plus the price hike definitely is the final nail in the coffin).
if the site shows up as app.trakt.tv then its taking you to trakt lite. that one has a different interface, more minimalistic and simplified. the full site should be www.trakt.tv that you’re used to
The issue is though that while when one is on the full site there’s a toggle switch to go to “Lite”. However once on the Lite app site there’s no similar method to return to the full site. Mildly infuriating tbh.
yeah they removed the switch back. just gotta type in the url manually now. i just have the regular site bookmarked so it’s just a click to get back
Oh, thank you for letting me know! It was indeed a bit infuriating to get away from app.trakt.tv, because trakt.tv kept redirecting me and I had to sign in again. Eventually it worked though, but this is just a really terrible user experience.
