I’d like to add ‘magic link’ rather than password to the list of terrible UX decisions. Rather than instantly signing on with username/password, I have multiple clicks to send an email to myself. I then have to open one (or sometimes two) other apps to jump through sign-in hoops. Even if this was somehow more secure than a password (it isn’t) this is not a bank, the risk of someone with my password is they add new shows to my watch list. It is a risk I’m willing to take to sign in properly.
