Seems as if Netflix won‘t Sync for me yet. Thanks.

My Prime sync stopped and asked me to resync. When I try to do this and after I log in, I briefly see a captcha before it jumps over the page and returns to the Trakt app without giving me the possibility to enter the captcha and the sync remains broken. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I can not get Max linked from Trakt. I am in the Netherlands. Max subscription is directly with Max with just a local internet provider. Your instructions were not applicable to me, it seems.
Any ideas how to get scrobbling for Max in this situation?

@IsHome, I had the same. Next to Popular, click on Log in on HBO Max. On the next page, select the tab ‘Computer’ and then click on the link provided in step 1. It takes you to the login page. After you’re logged in you’ll have to tap few times page back to continue the process, select only new views or all history.
Not the most user friendly but it worked for me.

@kuja thanks for the clear steps/explanation :: ::
I was able to sign up for the automatic data sync with HBO MAX.
Maybe support can put the text as a help instruction on the Trakt site, because I think more users will be helped by it.

Max is not displayed as an option in the app for me (I can see the other 4 and have connected Netflix successfully). Through I can see it on the website. Is it limited to certain regions/users?

I have the latest version of the iOS app and even tried reinstalling :frowning:

It shouldn’t be limited, What region are you in?

I am in Norway, V2.3.2 (752).

A X was added next to the Hulu account that was having the connection/syncing issue; I was able to disconnect and reconnect my account. That seems to have solved the issue… At least at the moment.

Thank you for your help.

@agneev Can you confirm you are able to watch Apple TV+ content with your Apple Music student plan?

Having the same issue as a few others were reporting for Hulu. I synced my account today and it shows that all were watched today rather than their release dates (2100+ episodes). I undid the initial sync and retried it again and I’m still seeing the same issue with all streams being counted as today.

You might need to unlink Hulu, then connect it again, and choose the full sync option. If that still doesn’t work, could be another bug we need to look into.

Yes I’m able to.

Thank you for the support. It worked for me as well.

When syncing Netflix watch history, is there an option to not sync ratings for tv and movies?

Great idea - love the easy connectivity idea; this is a real step forward in ease of use.

I did my setup and initial syncs this morning (and a few attempted full-history syncs thereafter) and unfortunately it is currently pulling woefully incomplete data across platforms. Is there another way to force the historical sync?

As an example: for Amazon Video, the data loaded shows 9 movie views for total 2024 where my watch history when I go to Amazon is more than 9 movies just in December so far and >100 in 2024. This coverage issue continues back previous years and to TV episodes, and across Netflix and MAX as well - the history loaded by the scrobbler is missing many thousands of views.

I am physically located in Paris (recently moved from the US) and am using US/ .com accounts in case that matters.

We skip duplicate plays, could that be why?

No issue to sign in with Max French version.
But content only available on the US version got synced.
E.g. The Middle available on Max France but not in the US.
