Automatically sync your streaming services!

Netflix is not syncing for me ether.

For me it’s Netflix and Prime as well

I’m looking into the sync to see what could be going on. I’ll report back once I have more info.

Syncs should be working again. You can either wait for the next auto sync, or request a sync from the setting page.

I requested a Prime Video sync for @Vicquelly and I saw it pull in data.

Max is now available to sync your watched and ratings history.

Nice!

Is Disney+ a service that can be added as well in the near future?

I’m struggling to get Max to connect. Mainly because I get Max through my cable provider (probably like many others) and there seems to be no way with the promoted login screen to select that option (which is usually available on any sign in page).

Clicking the “Need help” only briefly brings up the screen that I think might offer that solution but it reverts right back to the other screen again.

Disney+ likely in a few weeks.

Ok, I’ll need to pass that info on about the Max sign in via cable provider. Can you provide any more details that could be useful?

It seems like Max has made this more complicated. Their app and a website on a computer allows you to connect selecting a provider from a list.

What it seems like should be happening would be for it to trigger opening the Max app on my phone or iPad but that doesn’t seem to occur. And I can’t find a way to get to the screen from the Trakt app that allows people to select the provider they’re using to access Max.

EDITED TO ADD: I did find a way to do this with the current format. Within the Max app it’s possible to create a password which then will work to override the provider login necessity but still keeps all settings the same. So for me this is solved, but I don’t know how it affects profiles for users doing it this way.

Others encountering this should be able to do the same following the instructions here: Max | Find out how to connect your internet, mobile, or TV provider to your Max account so you can start streaming.

But ideally trying to connect would bring up the Max screen that allows people to follow the same process as usual by linking their provider.

Disney+ would be great (so a few weeks sounds good).

Paramount+ is another one I would be interested in.

What about some of the UK specific ones like BBC iPlayer, ITVx and Channel4?
Understand that they are lower down the priority and focus should be on the broadest services and I am not sure they even have public APIs or watch history that can be used, but pulling those in would be fantastic.

Hey @justin are you able to sync the Netflix one?
That was the one I tried previously, but was unsuccessful with syncing

Manual sync for Prime is now working. I unlinked and re-linked Netflix, but this is not working :frowning:

Thank you for the fast fix.

It shouldn’t surprise me how many people are just like “YOLO” with their auth, yet it still does

Sorry, forgot about that. When I use the direct link I don’t even have to login. But when I use Trakt, I see this but the button doesn’t do anything.

Hey guys, didn’t want to post a new thread, but my services don’t seem to be syncing. Last sync was the 6th, I have re-added them and still nothing, I managed to get some logs and it is complaining about 401 errors

ESIT: Odd just seems to have kicked in, ignore me

@justin :see_no_evil: I unlinked my Netflix to relink it and try again and it vanished

@Vicquelly You seem to be using the site, but you need to connect using the app. The site can only be used to unlink and trigger/manage syncs.

Ah yes, thank you!

Let me see if Netflix will work this time
