Stream Scobblers not Syncing

Hello I’ve tried syncing my streaming services with Trakt and it stopped syncing on 21st. The last thing that was sync was on the 20th. I’ve tried signing out and signing back in. Redo syncing and nothing is happening. It’s there a fix for this?

Hi! I see a sync completed as recently as today. Have you checked your scrobblers settings page? This shows the syncs that have completed as well as any items that have been skipped and also details some known issues that may be why items aren’t syncing. If you still have items that should have synced after reviewing those, please send an email to support@trakt.tv detailing the items that should have synced and which service they were watched on. Screenshots of your watch history from the service showing the completed items would be useful as well.

I just checked. The stuff I’ve watched on Netflix last night showed up. But some stuff I’ve watched on Disney plus and Netflix over the weekend haven’t showed up. There’s also another thing on Max that hasn’t showed up but I was manually tracking it before I got VIP so that could be why it’s not showing. But the others are not showing up.

AppleTV scrobbler, what is happening with it?

I have my account connected to it, but I no longer see it in the beta app as a listed scrobbler to do anything with (I was thinking of disconnecting and relinking).

The reason for that would be that syncing is not correct. All it does is sync the last episode of the show we watched, even if we watched multiple episodes. It also fails to sync any movies watched on AppleTV.

The issues with Apple TV are discussed here – https://forums.trakt.tv/t/apple-tv-disappeared-on-automatic-streaming/89113/5. Basically we’re waiting for the third party service we use for automatic tracking to make a change on their end.

If you’re having issues with other streaming services, please send a dm to support with a few specific titles that haven’t synced, the service they were watched on, and a rough estimate when they were watched so we can look into it.

I am a principal software engineer. I understand dependencies. However, your company owns the service that we pay for. What is the ETA?

Simply blaming your choice of dependencies is a poor excuse. Taking ownership of the problem and providing critical feedback is the responsibility of the company that is charging for the service. I understand that you depend on YCSConnect. However, your customers don’t need to worry about that. It’s just noise.

If the owners of YCSConnect need someone to sort out their SDK, I am more than happy to assist. This critical bug has been in production for much longer than any project I have ever managed.
