Bug - Up Next

Having the same issue. It seems episodes of shows that have released episodes in 2025 but also have seasons in previous years are not showing in my Up Next section.
Episodes for shows that either ONLY have episodes in 2025 or have episodes in any other year besides 2025 (but none in 2025) DO show up in Up Next.

I have same problem with Spy x Family s3

Same here … 90% of the shows dont show up

Same issue here, it’s happend with walking dead Daryl Dixon and the Graham Norton show.

I’ve noticed now that, in both the Trakt app and the website, the Up Next section isn’t updating. This is happening for both seasons’ premiers of shows of which I’ve seen all previous episodes and new episodes of seasons of shows of which I’ve already seen all episodes that do correctly appear in the Calendar but don’t show up in the “Up Next” section, despite the fact that they should. The weird thing is that, in the website, I can make them appear if I tap on the “Progress” section at the top.

The same is happening in watched Progress - episodes that aired since the recent database maintenance do not appear in the filtered (“Hide Completed”) list. The episodes are listed correctly after changing the filter to “Show All” but again disappear when filtering out the completed shows. I hope this does not turn into the database fiasco we had a few years ago.

Hey all!

I’ve got an issue where a show has aired but it’s not showing in my up next.

The show in question is “The Graham Norton Show” which series 33 episode 2 was shown on 3/10/25 at 22:30, but as of this morning 4/10/25 it’s it showing.

My wild guess is that this is something to do with time zones?

this used to so I’m guessing this is to do with the event up next changes?

thanks

Same here … nothing is showing up in “Up Next”

From around 10 new episodes from different shows i had only 2 of them show up there

Just had the same issue with the walking dead Daryl dixon

Simpsons, john oliver, daryl dixon didn’t showed up next section today on android and windows.

The newest episodes of Saturday Night Live and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon aren’t appearing in my Up Next either. There must be a bug.

I was able to have one show with new episodes display on my Up Next (House of David, which aired 10/5 at 12 am) but the other two shows I mentioned above aren’t showing. I’ve sent a message to support but no response yet.

Small update, one show appeared today as it should, Task, but way later than it was aired. Also I’m additionally using RSS link to get updates for some specific reason, and this show didn’t get into RSS feed as expected.

I am looking into this bug. Just to confirm, is this the main issue?

  • You’re 100% watched on a show
  • A new episode airs
  • It doesn’t show in up next after that new episode has aired (i.e. past the date time we have)

As mentioned, when adding an episode as watched that seems to display in up next correctly. I’m just trying to verify and pin down the specific issue.

This describes the issue for me

Yeah, that’s the exact issue. For me at least.

Yep that sums up my issue

Yes. But it also doesn’t happen for all shows, but for most at the very least. For example, I haven’t watched Tulsa King S03E03, The Simpsons S37E02, TWD Daryl Dixon S03E05, Last Week with John Oliver S12E25, Spy X Family S03E01 that have aired and they are not appearing in my “Up Next” feed, or “Progress” page feed unless I uncheck filter “Completed”, which I believe is automatically applied for “Up Next” portion of Dashboard.

However, show Gachiakuta S01E13 did appear in my “Up Next” feed normally, even though Tulsa King episode that aired same day, didn’t.

Hope this helps to narrow down the issue.
