I mean, “solved” would imply “implemented”, at least in the context of a feature request. Justin has made it quite obvious that there are no plans to change the watchlist limit, which I would argue was more crucial than earning additional lists. It would have been great to discuss a mutually beneficial compromise as a community, but I suppose locking a thread and restructuring the entire forum was easier than engaging in the communication you (the entity) keep committing to fix, but again, I digress.
Yeah I suppose it’s kind of like, ‘solved’ could mean we’ve implemented it or we’ve decided we won’t, and you’d have to view the specific post marked solution. I don’t know if there’s another way to mark it with something else other than “closed” (which would then stop other replies).
As mentioned, other than the reddit post, I don’t think I’ve seen a thread created regarding the additional lists, so you could get your foot in the door as the first general thread for that announcement . Otherwise there’s a few comments on the reddit post already.
This should answer your question.
I probably missed you already, but if you have the link to a specific thread in there that you were after, that might need to be moved?
Perhaps a new category should’ve been created. Might’ve solved that issue.
I can only share my experiences from the other forums I visit, and they usually refrain from intervening because things can always change. If they are not going to change, then the thread would be closed, and any duplicates would also be closed, linking to the original thread.
Well it would be relevant to the feature request, but that was “solved”.
Oh true, in that case you do not get to farm forum upvotes, sorry
Yeah I would hope we don’t have any reason to close them from now on.
I mean, it was “solved” not “closed”, so I could… but that’s not why i’m here, or the point I’m trying to convey.
