Hello Trakt team,
I’m writing this as a long-time, active user who genuinely loves Trakt — which is why the new design is such a disappointment.
I use Trakt constantly for very practical things:

Checking if a movie or series is already in my collection

Adding shows/movies to lists

Looking up individual episodes (especially release dates, season/episode details, etc.)
With the new design, a lot of that functionality feels either gone or buried behind extra steps:

I can’t quickly tell if something is in my collection anymore

Lists are much harder to reach and manage

Finding individual episodes to check details like release dates is now frustrating instead of instant
Honestly, it feels like the redesign “improved” the visuals by designing away the exact features people use Trakt for.
And that’s what worries me most: Trakt wasn’t broken. It worked well. This redesign feels like a downgrade in real-world usability, especially for loyal users who are active every day.
I don’t want to leave Trakt — I’d hate to switch after being so invested in the platform — but if the core workflows are this much worse, you’re basically forcing users like me to start looking for alternatives.
Please, at minimum:
Bring back the previous/classic version as an option.
Let the people who love the old layout keep using what worked.
Because right now, this “upgrade” feels like a really unnecessary step backwards.
