Forum profile “Trakt Profile” link points to the wrong Trakt account

Hi,

I noticed an issue with the “Trakt Profile” link on my forum profile.

When I’m on my profile on the Trakt forum and click “Trakt Profile”, it redirects me to:

https://app.trakt.tv/profile/Carpenter

But that is not my Trakt profile. It seems to belong to another user named Carpenter.

My actual Trakt profile URL has an underscore at the end:

https://app.trakt.tv/profile/Carpenter_

So it looks like the forum is linking my account to the wrong Trakt username, probably because it removes or ignores the final underscore.

if you sign out and then back into the forum it might fix that if you haven’t already tried that

I just did, and it’s still redirecting to
https://app.trakt.tv/profile/Carpenter

Not exactly the same issue, but you reminded me of something odd I’ve noticed. I’ve had Trakt profile links on other forum users’ profile pages link to my own Trakt profile on multiple occasions. Sometimes renewing the page would do it, other times I’d have to close my browser altogether before expected behaviour would occur.

Small bump on this.

The issue is still happening for me: the “Trakt Profile” link on my forum profile still redirects to the wrong Trakt account, without the final underscore.

Since another user also mentioned odd behavior with forum profile links, it might not be limited to my account only.

Would it be possible for someone from the @support team/devs to take a look, or let us know if there’s any update on this?
