I wasn’t able to find out if this topic has been discussed before, so please excuse if this is a duplicate, but I would like to know if there’s a possibility to implement a feature to bring the full cast of a series/movie/episode on display. Currently, the “Actors” section provides only the first 10 people, no matter how many season regulars or guest stars are listed. I don’t like to see “Guest Stars (14)” as title when there’s no way to view them all, so I would welcome some kind of “see full cast” link to have a look at more than just 10 actor entries.
If you’re on a touchpad/mousepad, you can scroll horizontally easily. And I don’t think you’re aware, but if you’re on a PC/laptop with a “real” mouse, you can hold Shift (or was it Ctrl?) and use the scroller mouse wheel to scroll horizontally. Give it a try!
Wow… this is … I’m sorry but I’m trying hard to find correct, appropriate and non-offensive words for that. Is this really meant serious? How the hell should one come to the idea to try out THAT?
Yeah, it works, but there’s NO SINGLE HINT on that, not even some kind of horizontal bar to indicate the possibility of horizontal scrolling or semitransparent arrows on the left and right border or something else that ANY OTHER SITE out there would implement for that. I’m using trakt for quite some years now and I never came up with the idea of pressing shift for horizontal scrolling.
I think whoever designed or approved this, should update themselves on usability guidelines. Honestly.
However, thank you so much for the clarification, but I would highly appreciate if this could be changed in a way that it’s more intuitive, user oriented and … obvious. A very good example already exists on trakt, just have a look at the discover page, where you have < and > arrows and even page numbers on the frames of the two top categories.
Admitted, most of the site’s features is awesome and I really like using it, but there’s always something that can be improved and this is such a something IMHO
Discourse is a third party forum software so technically a link to a Trakt page is an external one, and as you haven’t been on the forums much I believe your “Trust levels” are not high enough to post external links.

I agree that using transparent arrows would be better than what there is now.(Perhaps with it snapping to the next 10 when clicked.) If I remember correctly there used to be a scroll bar a while back. But the code used was buggy and it was switched to something better for mobile at the same time, unintentionally overlooking the desktop side of things.
I’ll add some arrows to indicate it can scroll or I might have another scroll bar option too. Like @arcreactor said it used another plug-in for scrolling in the past but it was super buggy, so I switched to browser based scrolling.
May I add a - perhaps slightly unrelated - follow-up question on that? Regarding the watchlist, I just played around a bit with the filter options and learned that there’s the types Movies, Shows, Seasons, Episodes and People. While the first four make totally sense, it appears that filtering for People doesn’t show anything, which seems correct since I didn’t find out how to put an actor on my watchlist.
Is this intended? Or is “People” unfunctional and just added because of a generic dropdown array item list or is the “add people to watchlist” function gone missing?
Does this scrollbar make it more clear? This is dark knight mode, but the standard theme would have something similar too. This style should be picked up by all the major browsers.
