I’ve got a lot of time on my hands currently and I’m trying to go through some remaining TV shows that haven’t been moved to TMDB from TVDB. At what point do shows get moved to TMDB from TVDB even though they are still a partial match? For example what if a show matches except for release date on episodes and that’s the only thing that doesn’t match?
You can report those shows and we can tell if it is ok to migrate.
If the partial match is bacause of different spelling of titles or diffent dates we can migrate.
If the episodes are in a different order or season we can also move them. TMDB just needs to have all aired episodes.
Anyway, just report those items and I’ll check if we can migrate, if we can’t I’ll tell you why.
Amazing, I’m looking to see if I can help out as well as it seems like not many people are doing it anymore, being almost a year since this post let alone the migration, Hopefully Legacy Code can be removed once all the matches get sorted.
